Donations to environmental projects
Since 2005, the Bank has donated surplus office equipment, furniture and electronic appliances to local charities.
From 2003 to 2008, HSBC donated more than 8,000 used computers and accessories to Caritas and the Salvation Army and over 1,600 pieces of used office furniture were donated to Fu Hong Society, Helping Hand, Hong Chi Association, The Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association and The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
